Arborist Business Developer Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, preferred but not required ISA Certified Arborist credentials Minimum 1-3 years of sales experience in arboricultural service Valid Texas Driver's License and clean driving record Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Must be able to negotiate and provide excellent customer service Must be someone who can quickly adapt to change. Responsibilities: Handles all initial interaction with new tree care clients Presents proposal documents and closes sale and responsible for client satisfaction 50% of handling SoBo issued leads, and 50% of hunting for new prospects and business. Ensures a smooth transition of new account to the respective manager to service clients need Network through professional association Must be able to meet monthly, quarterly and annual sales and production goals Ensures sold work exceeds minimum acceptable gross margins Perks Company vehicle Paid-Time Off  Holiday Pay? 401K with company match  Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance?  Recognition programs and performance bonuses  Continuing education and industry involvement opportunities?  Physical Demands Must be able to lift/carry materials up to 50 lbs, move about the work site, communicate efficiently and effectively on the telephone or in person, and complete required paperwork. Exposure to dust, pollen, chemicals, cold, and heat in an external environment. Requires extended periods of walking, standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting. Local travel to the field more than 50% of the time and occasional overnight travel required.
Working Conditions Include external environment dealing with all weather and terrain exposure. Safety equipment includes, but is not limited to hard hats, gloves, earplugs, safety vest and safety glasses. This position requires the ability to work during inclement weather events.
