Responsibilities
• Processes and enters data into computer or record format• Answers customer inquiries by phone or in-person• Provides accurate and complete information• Handles customer complaints and resolves issues• Reviews and processes records and reports• Mails or issues authorized documents• Obtains data and prepares reports• Balances cash drawers and records revenue• Files and maintains control records• Assists other clerical employees and performs related duties
Requirements
• Two (2) years of clerical, bookkeeping, data processing or statistical work experience• High school diploma or GED, or one (1) year of experience and one (1) year of college study• Proof of education, training, and/or experience required• Knowledge of modern office practices, procedures, and equipment• Skilled at operating office equipment• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task• Ability to greet and answer inquiries competently and courteously• Effective and efficient communication with customers• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, familiarity with computerized databases• Ability to plan, organize, and resolve problem situations
