Responsibilities
• Gather and analyze user needs for development and modification of information systems• Define objectives and outputs of proposed applications• Conduct feasibility studies for technical solutions• Prepare and validate system flow charts and technical specifications• Develop prototypical systems to demonstrate technical feasibility• Develop highly complex software to address system goals and needs• Lead application testing and conversion plans• Develop or modify advanced application enhancements• Lead project planning and management efforts• Perform research and development activities to incorporate new technology
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline• 7 years of experience in information systems, including 5 years of programming or systems analysis• Experience in leading a project and/or team preferred• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems desired• Certification in Service Management, Project Management, or Business Analysis desired• Knowledge of technical specifications, problem analysis, and hardware/software configurations• Ability to assess user needs and determine appropriate systems applications• Ability to supervise project teams and coordinate daily activities• Effective verbal and written communication skills• Strong customer service skills and ability to work with all levels within the organization
