The Clarksburg VA Medical Center is looking for an Anesthesiologist to join our team. The Clarksburg VAMC is small enough to connect with patients but big enough to still have some of the newest equipment available. At the Clarksburg VA Medical Center, our health care teams are deeply experienced and guided by the needs of Veterans, their families, and caregivers.
Major Duties/Responsibilities: Direction of perioperative anesthetic care to patients Preoperative Assessments Intraoperative anesthetic administration and monitoring Post-anesthesia Care Providing anesthetic care for general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, ophthalmology, Diabetic foot and oral surgery in OR, PACU, ICU ward and clinic settings Participating in the development and implementation of program planning, objectives, policies, and standards essential to delivery of quality anesthetic care Salary 250K-400K Relocation/Recruitment Incentives (Sign-on Bonus): Available for well-qualified applicants
EDRP Authorized : This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after completing review of the EDRP application. 
Excellent work schedule : Monday-Friday, 7:30 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.; however, subject to change, depending on the needs of the service/medical center. On-call responsibilities as required.
