Responsibilities
• Provide aircraft window services to existing customers and increase customer base and sales in the assigned Regional Market• Inspect aircraft windows and evaluate defects for airworthiness• Repair scratches, pits, and other damage to aircraft windows• Remove and install replacement windshields and windows• Remove existing windows and prep and install new windows• Be on-call 24/7 at customer requests for emergency AOG services• Use an orbital sander with different grits of sandpaper to repair damaged areas• Review, interpret, and understand tech data related to the job• Schedule services with owner/operator and/or maintenance manager• Complete and provide billing information and evaluation forms to home office• Travel as required to customers' locations• Perform weekly expense reports• Sign off on all work orders and maintain traceability of parts• Visit or contact customers and potential customers on a daily basis• Develop and grow sales area for assigned Regional Market• Seek guidance and direction as necessary• Maintain work area in a neat and orderly manner• Maintain a well-groomed appearance• Respect confidentiality of Company, customer, and personnel information• Assist and train other employees as needed
Requirements
• High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED)• Sales experience preferred• 1 year of orbital sanding experience preferred• Auto body experience preferred• Previous aircraft experience preferred• A&P license or AMT certificate preferred• Ability to use various measuring devices• Strong mechanical aptitude• Ability to read and interpret blueprints preferred• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively• Provide timely and incredible customer service
