About the Role We are seeking an intern to work with data analytics, preferably who can translate data into actionable insights and drive innovation through AI. The intern will play a pivotal role in interpreting complex data, analyzing results, and providing valuable reports to drive informed decision-making in the organization.
The role would be a great fit for someone who is:
An enthusiastic self-starter Interested in transforming and manipulating data Passionate for technology and AI Responsibilities Explore and define the research problem for ZF company and/or ZF products Develop the technology and create the solution to solve the defined problem Apply relevant statistical, mathematical, and computational concepts to create models, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts based on machine learning and deep learning techniques, that can be applied to the problem Design experiments, perform evaluations, apply enhancements, and develop AI workflows, to automate, optimize, and simplify human-dependent internal processes Produce end research results such as publication of findings, publishing patent(s), or similar Employ LLMs such as Llama2, Mistral AI, or OpenAI, for specific company needs, integrating and refining them using existing datasets and existing question/answer databases, to fine-tune LLMs, and develop proof-of-concept AI-assisted workflows, or similar Qualifications Proficient in programming & coding: C/C++, Python, Visual Studio in Windows & Linux Environments, Real-Time Operating Systems, dashboarding etc. 6+ months designing and training models, and other machine learning techniques 6+ months of contributions to the field of machine learning, evidenced by university studies, publications, presentations, courses taken, etc. Education and Experience We ask that all applicants are current university students, actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (e.g., Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Computational Neuroscience, etc.), and remain a student for the duration of their internship with our company If you have your own project idea, please be sure to include relevant links for viewing in your CV Must have/maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 (minimally) on a 4.0 scale OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Home/Hybrid location for the internship will be Northville, MI Duration 3-6 months DIVERSITY COMMITMENT:
