Employs qualified personnel and ensures adequate staff education and evaluations Implements an effective budgeting and accounting system and assures accuracy for billing procedures Assesses employees on an ongoing basis to ascertain their understanding of policies and procedures and assist employees to support policies and achieve necessary changes Maintains two-way communication with employees and fair administration of personnel policies Documents employee problems in personnel files and disciplines employees as necessary Monitors budget hours and does not exceed allowance each year Monitors equipment abuse and takes steps to keep it at a minimum Develops, implements and evaluates financial policies, procedures, budget plans and cost control Ensures staff development, including orientation, in service education and continuing education Other duties as assigned Licensed physician or registered nurse required At least one year of supervisory or administrative experience in home health care related programs
