Job Duties: This position is responsible for providing administrative, clerical support to the CTeBH staff, faculty and subcontractors; maintain provider templates and clinical schedules; assist providers with completion and submission of hospital privileging and credentialing applications; maintain credentialing and privileging documentation and records; retrieve/organize records and information; assist with the preparation of contracts and reports; perform purchase-related tasks; maintain the Fixed Assets inventory and records; assist with telepsychiatry equipment set-up, connectivity, and trouble-shooting; prepare information, schedule and take minutes for departmental and state-wide meetings; assist the NC-STeP Portal Administrator with reporting and user account maintenance; and assist with facilitating day-to-day program operations for the statewide program.

Organizational Unit Overview: The East Carolina University Center for Telepsychiatry and e-Behavioral Health (CTeBH) is the home for the North Carolina Statewide Telepsychiatry Program (NC-STeP), a legislatively mandated and funded program that connects more than 50 hospital emergency departments and health departments across the state of North Carolina to provide psychiatric assessments and consultations to patients linked using telemedicine technologies. The CTeBH strives to increase access to care and is actively engaged in helping our field effectively deal with the lack of access that can sometimes force patients to travel long distances to obtain mental health services, or forgo such services altogether.
