Responsibilities
• Utilize Epic to review and satisfy billing edits, charge information, insurance benefits, and other related information• Resolve account balances and remove barriers to cash flow• Ensure appropriate use of adjustment codes and activity codes• Identify opportunities to improve business results and alert business units of trends• Escalate unresolved issues and recommend solutions• Meet productivity and performance standards• Make appropriate decisions on account activity
Requirements
• Two (2) years of experience in automated account follow-up system• Experience in a hospital setting, health insurance claims processing, or medical office• Preferred qualifications: College level coursework, Epic experience
