Accounts Payable TechnicianWe are looking for a friendly and organized individual who is interested in joining an innovative, growing company! We are an Affordable Housing Management Company with a portfolio of over fifty properties throughout Missouri. The Accounts Payable Technician will provide support to the Property Accounting Department, while adhering to departmental procedures. This is a full-time position. Full benefits, PTO available.ResponsibilitiesManaging accounts payable using accounting software and other programsHandling accounts payable for separate entities and vendorsEstablishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendorsEnsuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate mannerProcessing due invoices for payments accurately and timelyComparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other chargesProcessing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling multiple accountsMaintain 1099 vendor files for accuracy and up to date W9 s for tax reportingSpecial projects as requiredAct as primary back-up to other Accounts Payable Technicians during absences.RequirementsAccounting experienceMicrosoft OfficeYardi experience a plus – we will trainAnalytical SkillsCommunication Skills
