Responsibilities
• Assist in month and year-end close procedures• Assist in monthly financial reporting and ad-hoc analysis• Assist in year-end audit and tax planning and preparation• Assist in lease accounting and reporting requirements• Reconcile various balance sheet accounts along supporting evidence for management's estimates• Reconcile inventory, work-in-process monthly• Prepare and report on the Company's construction projects from permitting to final billing• Perform and reconcile inventory cycle counts and year-end inventory counts• Prepare and report monthly and quarterly state and local sales and use tax• Assist in maintaining property tax records for various counties
Requirements
• Extensive accounting experience including general ledger, accounts payable, inventory and cash management• Detail oriented, organized and excellent communication skills• Excellent excel and computer skills• Ability to work independently and meet time deadlines• Four-year degree in accounting or related field• Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience
