Job Summary:Netchex is in search of a diligent and seasoned Accounting Manager to lead our financial operations. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day accounting tasks, encompassing areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting. Your contribution will be pivotal in maintaining accuracy, compliance, and efficiency throughout our financial processes. We're looking for candidates with a solid foundation in accounting principles, exceptional leadership abilities, and a knack for excelling in dynamic, fast-paced settings.Location:* Mandeville/Covington, Louisiana (if in person) or Fully Remote with travel required (minimum once/quarter)Key Responsibilities:Manage month-end close process, prepare monthly reporting schedule and related deliverablesOversee AP/AR teamAssist with GL, cash reconciliation, prepaids and accruals; prepare journal entries and reconciliations with a high degree of accuracyEnsure quality and timeliness of deliverablesEvaluate current processes and implement necessary controls, suggest and implement improvements to accelerate close timelineAssist in annual financial audits, including preparing audit schedules and responding to audit inquiriesSupport transformation projects such as implementing new systems, programs and proceduresPartner with FP&A on budget vs. actual analysis and forecasting processesOther assignments as requiredQualifications:5-8 years of accounting experienceEagerness to learn new things and grow with the organizationStrong understanding of GAAP accounting principles (familiarity with Software + ASC-606, a bonus)Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate issues and resolution clearly and concisely to management and stakeholdersAbility to efficiently and effectively prioritize and perform multiple projects while working with varying team members, as well as work independently with limited required directionIntermediate to advanced Excel skills with strong attention to detail.Experience with large ERP system and other general accounting software (familiarity with Sage Intacct preferred)Benefits:A fun, rewarding, and team-based work environment100% Employer paid Health & Dental Insurance for employees.100% Employer paid Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance for employees100% Employer paid Life Insurance for employeesVision InsuranceGenerous PTO and paid holidays401(k) Employer MatchOpportunity to grow your career - company culture that promotes from withinPhilanthropic opportunities to give back to our communityCasual dress attireNetchex is an Equal Opportunity Employer
