Benefits: Tuition Assistance 80 hours PTO in the 1st year Affordable healthcare/dental/vision available at 30 days 401k with an additional 3% match Purpose: The primary purpose of a Accounting Clerk is to assist FreeStar Financial Credit Union in fulfilling our mission positively impact the lives of our members, team members, and community through making meaningful connections and progressive financial solutions. Duties: Post exceptions for Visa and Share Drafts. Post general ledger entries. Process stop payments. Balance corporate checks, money orders, Visa, share drafts, and outgoing wires. Balance subsidiary accounts to the general ledger on a daily basis. Send and receive wire transfers and ACH's. Process returned deposited items Process share draft returns. Process accounts payable. Review cash over and short general ledgers. Education & Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of one-three years of similar or related experience in the financial industry.
