Closing – Month End: Journal Entries Variance Analysis & Reports Prepare Margins for Assets Reviewing and Verifying Revenue & Volumes Intercompany Reviews ISOM Allocation Calculation of the ISOM Processing Fees Invoicing for Mont Belvieu Caverns and ISOMs Estimate of Inventory Gains/Losses Update Truck and Rail information for the terminal at Belvieu (PHT) Mid-Month: Account Reconciliations Government Reporting of Inventories – monthly and weekly Responding to Customer inquiries on Invoices Responding to Auditor and Financial Reporting Requests Monthly & Quarterly Reports Settlement of inventory Gains/Losses Prepare Daily Overstorage report for approval Contract Review Assets: Mont Belvieu Caverns Mt. Belvieu PHT Summary Mont Belvieu Isoms Minnesota Terminals Southeast Terminals West Coast Terminals MTBV Cogen Plants Skills Required Proficiency with accounting concepts, such as financial statements, journal entries, and balance sheets. Working proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, develop macros, and other advanced Excel functions. Detailed, organized and self-motivated with strong teamwork skills Ability to learn quickly and adapt and manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing dynamic environment. Education/Training/Certifications High School degree or GED
