Job Description:

Unum Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Support Specialist to join our remote team in Los Angeles, California. As an Associate Level Account Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional support to our clients and ensuring their needs are met in a timely and professional manner. This part-time position offers the flexibility to work remotely, allowing you to balance work and personal commitments effectively.

Responsibilities:- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, handling inquiries and resolving issues in a prompt and efficient manner- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their unique requirements- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions, ensuring all information is up to date and easily accessible- Assist the Account Management team in developing and implementing strategies to enhance client satisfaction and retention- Coordinate with internal departments to address client needs and ensure seamless communication and collaboration- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices, providing valuable insights to clients and internal stakeholders- Support the Account Management team in preparing reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred- 4+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in account management or customer support- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software- Driven and resourceful attitude, with a passion for helping others and finding creative solutions to problems- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently- Experience in people management or team leadership is a plus
