A/R Billing Specialist

In this position, you will assist and perform necessary tasks to ensure the accuracy of the Company's accounting records including but not limited to: assisting with all monthly billing, Medicare and insurance claims collection and follow up, coverage verification and other general accounting duties.
Details of the positions are as follows:

Prepare A/R billing A/R entry into software system Record client charges, discharges and adjustments Prepare daily bank deposits and assist with resident trust Insurance co-pay verifications Monitor Accounts Receivable Make collection calls as necessary Complete and monitor appeals process with insurance Follow up in software on all A/R accounts Write up of all necessary write-offs Prepare monthly A/R Aging analysis Assist with client questions/problem resolution Assist in maintaining general accounting office / file organization Reception coverage for breaks Other special projects / duties as assigned Qualified candidates will have extensive collections and A/R experience in a healthcare setting. Experience also working with various insurances is strongly desired. Must have an understanding of Medicare and Medicaid. "Be here. Be you."
