The Department of Arts, Languages, and Philosophy at Missouri University of Science and Technology invites applications for a part-time lecturer to direct the Missouri S&T University Orchestra. The successful applicant will teach one one-credit ensemble course and actively engage in the life of the department.
The University Orchestra is made up of approximately 50-60 students and community members. Rehearsals are held Monday evenings from 7-9:30 p.m. and there is one scheduled performance at the end of the semester.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in music, music education or related subject area. Proven, successful experience as a high school, college, or community orchestra director.
