Job Description:
Supplemental Health Care is a national hiring partner for schools across the United States. We work with districts in more than 24 states to hire thousands of school professionals every year. Currently, we're in need of a Special Education Teacher to work in a school located in Phoenix, Arizona.
Special Education Teacher Contract Details:
- $2,020 - $2,173 per week
- Certified Special Education Teachers needed for the full 2024-25 school year for 40 hours a week.
- Classroom and Age level TBD on Special Education Teacher preference and openings available.
- Multicategorical, intellectual, learning, and/or emotional disability special education certifications will be accepted
Possible program/caseload info:
- Special education teacher needs in elementary, middle, high, and alternative schools throughout the district.
- Could be a combination of co-teach and pull-out services
- Could be low incidence/autism self-contained classroom
- Could be a behavior support specialist

Requirements:
- Active Arizona Department of Education (ADE) Professional Teacher Certification with endorsement in Special Education Mild/Moderate, Moderate/Severe or Cross-Categorical.
- Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Multicategorical, intellectual, learning, and/or emotional disability special education certifications will be accepted
