Position Summary Your role as a Technician Trainee- Crossbore is to assist with the operation of our CCTV Camera and equipment to help make our community a safer place.
Primary Responsibilities Detect cross bored wastewater lines and collect field data through utilizing ESRI GPS software during inspections Establish a safe work zone including positioning safety items such as traffic cones and signs Prepare the CCTV Robot and equipment under the direction of the Operator while cleaning and maintaining equipment Dispatch the tractor unit securely into the pipe utilizing a crane or hook Mark locations on the job site with utility marking paint Job Qualifications and Skills: Valid Driver's License with a good driving record Ability to pass a thorough background check and pre-employment drug screen required as a condition of employment Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certification as required by project locations Must be able and willing to walk 2 to 5 miles or more per day on various terrain and various weather conditions Must be willing to work with sewer and wastewater utility lines Lift the 50+lbs. of equipment regularly throughout the day.
