Full job description Summary


Processes proposals for new or renewal benefits accurately and in a timely manner.
Description

Creates proposals/rate quotes by reviewing requests for proposals, assigning appropriate industry and region codes, determining benefits, and keying into system.


Communicates with brokers/agents as necessary to complete the rate function.


May perform one or more of the following: processing census enrollments, indexing and scanning documents, or processing decline letters.


Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent


Required Work Experience:


Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Good judgment. Proficient spelling, grammar, punctuation, and basic math proficiency. Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.


Required Software and Other Tools: Microsoft Office.


Preferred Work Experience: 1 Year-Customer service and/or underwriting services experience.


Work Environment: Typical office environment.
