Salary: Minimum starting salary of $50,000.

. Position Overview: This position will partner with human resources and hiring managers to help attract a diverse pool of qualified talent for the University.
Primary Duties:
1. Develop and maintain talent pipelines through proactive sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
2. Conduct initial phone screens to effectively evaluate candidate qualifications and provide candidate recommendations to the hiring manager for further consideration.
3. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific job requirements and refine screening criteria.
4. Ensure that all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and University policies.
5.Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the organization's culture, values, and employer brand to candidates.
6. Actively advocate for inclusive and equitable recruitment and hiring processes.
7. Provide communication and training on Talent Acquisition processes and best practices to leadership and other stakeholders.
8. Maintain candidate databases and keep track of recruitment metrics.
9. Perform other duties as required/assigned by leadership.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, communications, or related field. One to two (1-2) years of experience and/or training or equivalent experience.
Understand local, state, and federal laws, regulations and standards pertaining to fair hiring practices.
Experience using various computer software applications (Microsoft Office, HRIS systems, etc.).
Attention to detail and organization.
Ability to prioritize and manage a wide variety and high quantity of tasks at any given time.
Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience working under pressure and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience in talent acquisition.
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
PHR or SHRM certification.
Working Conditions: Normal office environment. Some travel may be required.
