Shipping & Manufacturing Tech

POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Shipping & Manufacturing Technician is responsible for learning and performing all tasks relative to the material handling, shipping & receiving, light manufacturing, safety and cleanliness of all work areas. He/she must work closely with the Shipping & Manufacturing Team to ensure the highest level of safety, efficiency, professionalism, and customer service.
REQUIREMENTS: Work Mon-Fri 7:30am - 4:00 pm with occasional Saturday Must be able to repetitively lift 50+ lbs. Stand for a majority of 8-hour shift Committed to working safely adhering to OSHA standards Must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently Forklift experience is a plus Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Shipping and Receiving Accurately pull orders with correct items and quantities Properly prepare packages, boxes and pallets for shipping Receive orders verifying accurate quantities and noting damages or discrepancies Train/understand all the safety requirements for manufacturing and distribution. Train/Learn how to manufacture, test, and package several products Daily housekeeping/cleaning activities: maintain back warehouse, the grounds behind the warehouse, around the dumpsters, and trash bin in the kitchen Help ensure the inventory is maintained and counted accurately Maintain a good company image Perform other duties as assigned by his/her supervisor Job Posted by ApplicantPro
