Senior Staff Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting procedures and possess excellent analytical skills A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate are highly valued in our workplace.
Responsibilities:
Conduct month-end closing activities, including recurring journal entries, fixed assets and depreciation calculations, allocation entries, fuel accounting, cash transfers, etc.
Manage cash receipts and accurately code bank deposits
Reconcile intercompany accounts receivable and advances
Assist in year-end tax preparation activities
Perform various balance sheet analyses and reconciliations, including tree/vine deposits, prepaid water analyses, payroll taxes, garnishments, insurance, etc.
Provide explanations for budget variances and assist in budgeting processes
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
