Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Cost Analyst to join our team! This role offers the opportunity to provide cost estimating and analysis support to a variety of ongoing project teams within our highly qualified interdisciplinary team of consultants. The Senior Cost Analyst will work on a diverse range of analytical projects, supporting both DoD, Federal, and corporate customers. This position requires regular customer interaction to develop project requirements, collaborate on integrated teams, and present, defend, and support project results. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop cost estimates and models for various end products including:
- Product Support Business Case Analysis (PSBCA)
- Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA)
- Analysis of Alternatives (AoA)
- Life Cycle Cost Estimates
- Total Ownership Cost (TOC) Analysis
- Cost Analysis Requirements Document (CARD)
- Acquisition Milestone Support
- Present and defend cost estimates to various cost agencies and project customers.
- Provide objective cost/financial analysis, insights, and recommendations.
- Participate in and/or lead collaborative working groups among government and industry organizations.
Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree (or 5 years of experience in lieu of degree).
- 5-7+ years of experience in cost analysis, financial management, execution, tracking, and program analysis.
- Proficiency with cost estimating software tools (e.g., ACEIT, Crystal Ball).
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to work collaboratively with customers and colleagues.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active DoD SECRET security clearance.
- Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Cost Estimating, Operations Research, or a related field.
- Experience with Army Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE).
- Certification in Business - Life Cycle Logistics, Acquisition Professional Development Program, Level 2.
- Certified Defense Financial Manager.
- Army Program Manager Level II.
