Lifestyle perks like cell phone and event ticket discounts Medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance 401(k) with employer match and stock purchase discounts Parental Leave & Adoption/Surrogacy Benefits Opportunities for career growth and development Free online Spanish and English language courses What You Bring to the Table Minimum of one year of management and/or leadership experience Experience in food service, retail, hospitality, or hotel management is a plus Ability to lead a high-performing team with the General Manager Provide an uncommonly good experience for guests, fostering a family-like atmosphere Conflict resolution skills required, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills Hire, train and manage restaurant team members and restaurant shift managers Identify and foster talent in your team, develop high performers for promotions, recognize a job well-done Follow operational and inventory control procedures Assist with scheduling, expense tracking, labor management, and local restaurant marketing Lead with a culture of food safety that exceeds company standards in food quality, food safety practices, and cleanliness Ability to work 45 hours per week on a variable schedule including opening, mid, and closing shifts, as well as weekends and/or holidays. Currently, AGMs are required to work 1 opening shift, 2 mid shifts (11am to 8pm), and 1 closing shift, and a 5th shift that aligns with the restaurant needs. Note that this expectation may change depending on business needs. Position may include walking, bending, twisting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, or moving objects up to 55 pounds Certain other physical requirements may apply, as reasonably applicable in a standard kitchen/restaurant environment Valid driver's license required, as driving may be necessary Must be at least 18 years old At Noodles, we work hard and have fun doing it.
