Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 3 years related experience. Freon/Refrigerant recovery license or equivalent required. HVAC experience preferred.
Working knowledge of warehousing, inventory, parts, logistics and distribution. Computer literate. General maintenance. Management and/or Leadership experience. Stand-up CROWN forklift experience preferred. Able to work with electronic tools for inventory management. Able to move up to 50 pounds. Able to recognize equipment and parts locations and prioritize products accordingly. Detail orientation and accuracy. Able to maintain high service and product quality standards while under pressure. Understands seasonally driven business.
The individual in this role receives and processes returns. Repairs products for return to inventory as saleable goods whether as used or with warranties. Assist other departments within the facility, including: Management Team, Shipping/Receiving, Inventory/Office Support.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Verifies and processes returns; performs visual inspections of products and minor repairs on finished goods. Coordinates the scrapping process and any related recycling initiative. Unloads incoming shipments; accurately receives and puts away finished good and parts; picks, checks, and loads customer orders. Maintains the cleanliness, orderliness and safety of all areas of the RDC. Follows all safety rules, quality standards and standard operating procedures. Supports maintaining warehouse for order and safety. Assists in maintaining compliance in accordance with Lennox policy and DC Manager's instruction. Develops and maintains logs, reports, audit processes, SOX controls and applicable metrics in order to avoid picking and shipping errors. Ensures and records the accurate arrival, duration and departure of inbound activity; notifies management of any imminent or potential detention charges and resolves issues or variations with the inbound documentation. Provides timely customer service to all internal and external customers. Initiates any inbound vendor or in-transit freight claims and actions related to any serial number deviations. Carries out any supporting activities, including determining disposition of damaged product. Monitors non-conformance in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), processes, packaging, vendor cross-reference or UPC issues. Updates information on computer to maintain inventory records. Prepares and verifies requisition of additional stock items, using the appropriate forms or systems. Maintains compliance with established internal control procedures. Provide direction, problem-solving and coaching on day-to-day operations of your assigned area. Ensure compliance with established safety, quality, and lean policies/processes.
