Can work 100% remote - needs to sit on East Coast Must have excel exam submitted with resume Must have buyer experience Overview Procurement Analyst will provide executive level and cross-functional support of all financial analysis and reporting needs, assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, audit large spend invoices for accuracy and compliance to the contract, and manage all corporate credit card accounts. Also, acts as a back up to all Buyer's in the event of an absence and during high volume periods. Core Responsibilities Manage and reconcile all corporate credit card accounts, ensuring all proper documentation is in order, proper accounts are charged, and approvals have been obtained. Monitor for fraud or employee misuse and escalate as needed. Support senior management and functional departments with in-depth analysis as required, including but not limited to sourcing projects, budgets, invoices, and contracts; provide ad-hoc analysis to resolve issues and support business decisions. Audit monthly invoices for Tier 1 and Tier 2 vendors to ensure accuracy and compliance to the pricing set forth in the contract. Support financial planning and budgeting, ensuring that all financial targets are met, and examining any areas where budgets and expenditure exceed their agreed tolerances. Escalate as needed. Reconciles and researches inquiries that come from the supplier and/or from internal departments. Identifies expense trends and makes recommendations to achieve cost efficiency. Escalates issues regarding quality, delivery, and discrepancies. Acts as a back up to all Buyer's in the event of an absence and during high volume periods. Negotiates with vendors and procures routine and complex goods and services required to ensure efficient operations and that the required goods and services are procured in a timely manner that is consistent with internal requirements. Ensures a competitive environment is created before funds are committed by using full and open competition among suppliers, conducted in a manner that is fair, ethical, and transparent using discretion purchases in an effort to ensure cost savings when needed. Ability to identify data elements and build supplier metric reports within Coupa e-Procurement application. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills communication - Communicates clearly and adapts style to suit audience requirements (both, in verbal and written form). Demonstrates ability to listen, interpret and present information effectively using verbal and non-verbal cues. Actively listens when others are communicating and demonstrates receptivity to ideas presented. Ability to communicate effectively in a clear, concise manner with all levels of the organization. Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, multiple assignments in parallel, and maintain a positive, customer-oriented attitude and strong attention to detail. Proven ability to work independently and ability to be successful in a fast paced, high-energy environment. Coupa e-procurement software and cloud-based solutions Experience with ERP systems (i.e., Oracle, SAP) Intermediate EXCEL skills Preferred : Knowledge and understanding of the KofC organization desirable Required Education and Experience Qualifications Bachelors degree, preferably financial management, business administration, accounting 3 -5 years of experience in Procurement. Preferred: A minimum of 3 years data analysis, forecasting, budget management and reporting experience required.
