You may just be the right candidate for this or other roles.A Brief OverviewThe Payroll Tax Analyst, Reconciliations is responsible for performing complex tasks when a payroll change is made retroactively by a TriNet client or their employee. Training new colleagues and monitoring workflow.ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESProcess adjustments including, but not limited to, pretax benefit refunds, state and local tax adjustments, foreign national tax adjustments, benefit hours reconciliations, workers' compensation, wage balancing adjustments and W2Cs. Manual check reversals, invoice charges, overpayment of wages, and deceased terminations.Identify ways to improve or enhance processes/procedures, present ideas to the team manager.Communicates and resolves inquiries for customers via phone, email, or chat. Responsible for training new colleagues and auditing work of others for accuracy. Serves as a point of contact for all escalated customer requests. Assists supervisor with monitoring workflow and assignments.Develops and maintains process documents. Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager's discretion.JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONSEducation: Bachelor's Degree in finance or-related field or equivalent education and/or related work experienceExperience: Salesforce experience-Preferred3+ years of experience in Payroll/Payroll TaxLicense/Certificates:Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) and/or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP)-PreferredOther Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and customer service skillsStrong knowledge and understanding of both state and federal employment laws and taxesExcellent presentation and facilitation skillsAbility to adapt to a fast paced constantly evolving business and work environment while managing multiple prioritiesIntermediate to expert level expertise in Microsoft Excel and WordProven experience as a self-starter who can work independently or within a teamAbility to perform 10 key by touch and type a minimum of 55 WPMDemonstrated ability in solving complex mathematical computationsAbility to apply good problem-solving skills and critical thinkingThe salary range for this role is $55,100 to $112,500. The candidate's final salary offer will be based on the candidate's skills, education, work location and experience. A candidate's compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet's corporate bonus plan.
