This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.FunctionsProvides consultation services to libraries, including general information about library organizations, materials acquisition, budget development, automation issues, program planning, and reading program support. Serves as representative on various committees to develop and enhance library services and to develop working partnerships with outside organizations. Serves as program representative for various initiatives and public relations activities, including workshops, community events, and conferences. Researches, develops, and prepares educational materials and conducts workshops designed to educate the library community and the public. Compiles information and prepares statistical reports, questionnaires, and surveys.
