Description
The San Diego Unified School District, Human Resources Department is seeking an experienced individual to review, update and process all certificated and classified employee personal data and employee job assignment information into the district's database system. The incumbent will also contact employees, supervisors, administrators, site personnel and other district staff to resolve discrepancies and/or clarify information and assist in the training of new personnel.
This is a promotional/open opportunity, which means that current monthly-salaried employees receive precedence over other candidates on the eligible list.
For a promotional/open posting, the top ten internal applicants will be provided unless there is an insufficient number and then the list will be supplemented with the top external applicants to make up the ten (Employment Regulations for the Classified Service of the San Diego Unified School District: Article 2, Section 9). Minimum Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to graduation from high school and three years of recent, full-time, paid office-clerical experience including the application of established personnel rules and regulations in a public or large private organization. Experience using a human capital management data system such as PeopleSoft is preferred.

EXAMINATION PROCESS: Only those candidates whose application demonstrates a combined education and experience which meets the minimum requirements for this position will be considered qualified and advanced in the examination process. All positions require qualified candidates to pass the examination process which may include one or more of the following components: An application screening and evaluation based on the candidate's education, work history, and responses to the supplemental questions. Please note that not all qualified applicants will advance to subsequent phases of the examination process. A multiple-choice exam specific to the position.** A performance evaluation (Microsoft Excel).***The multiple-choice exam and performance evaluations will be conducted remotely utilizing an online testing platform. Access to the internet and the use of a camera-ready desktop/laptop with a microphone is required to participate in these processes.
