Histology Supervisor

Location: Greenville, SC
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Histology Supervisor

You'll lead a dedicated histology team, performing routine duties including embedding, microtome, and special stains.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the histology department, making key decisions and solving problems. Oversee the hiring process, from interviewing to developing performance expectations. Foster a safe, ethical, and non-discriminatory work environment. Continually monitor and evaluate lab operations and workflow. Ensure proper handling of all types of tissue, maintaining cleanliness and quality control. Adhere to industry's best security practices to protect sensitive company data. Work Schedule Monday to Friday, 5:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred. ASCP Certification in Histology. Over one year supervisory experience. Over 5 years' experience within the field of Histology required.
