They create orders as requested and educate guests about the menu, and also ensure that the restaurant is clean and inviting to all guests at all times. Line servers are expected to welcome and interact with guests throughout their visit, including anticipating and supplying guest needs. They are responsible for checking product quality to ensure all product served is up to standard.

Cashier must be knowledgeable of the menu in order to accurately record a customer's order and handle cash/credit/debit cards to process the transactions.
