Position Summary Supports the Vegetation Management Organization. Interprets contract language and communicates with VM suppliers and PG&E Operations. Identifies and escalates process deficiencies. Ensures projects are completed to company standards, contractual obligations, and regulatory guidelines.
This position is hybrid. You will work from your remote office and your assigned work location, which will be within the PG&E Service Territory, based on business needs.
PG&E is providing the salary range that the company, in good faith, believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, collective bargaining agreements, and internal equity.
A reasonable salary range is:?
Bay Area Minimum: $90,000
Bay Area Maximum: $136,000
&/OR?
California Minimum: $86,000
California Maximum: $129,000
This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.
Responsibilities: Provides field support to ensure supplier payment aligns with contractual language. Identifies, investigates, and troubleshoots process deficiencies. Communicate with VM suppliers to provide updates, clarification, and support. Compiles and summarizes program information to track progress on commitments. Acts as a subject matter expert in the area of the field. Maintains public and employee safety by promoting a positive safety culture, exhibiting an absolute commitment to safety for self and others, and ensuring all applicable safety rules, regulations, and standards are followed. Ensures contractors follow their approved site-specific safety plans. Coordinates and leads activities in support of inspections or audits. Supports VM Operations in implementing process changes. Qualifications Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience Three years of experience in the field of Forestry, Industrial engineering, or Construction Ability to travel up to 50 percent of working time. Desired: Experience in quality control and contracts. Experience in contract administration. Experience in contract administration, job-related. Experience in line clearance tree work. ISA Certified Arborist. ISA Utility Specialist. ISA TRAQ Certification. Certified Tree Care Safety Professional.
