Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Chemistry Lab Technician role in Germantown, WI. Direct Hire Shift: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
Compensation: $25-27/hr DOE
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE: Coordinate and execute daily processing of received waste stream samples and testing.
Conduct compatibility sampling and testing for processing and treatment of waste.
Coordinate the sampling and testing of outbound waste.
Conduct daily laboratory equipment calibration, maintenance and operations.
Provide customer support as requested.
Assist in the documentation and resolution of discrepancies.
Maintain current knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards to maintain compliance with local, state and federal environmental regulations.
Maintain standard operation procedures and work instructions for functions/activities under area of responsibility.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science in chemistry or related discipline required.
Experience working in waste, chemical or related facility (preferred).
Comfortable working with and around hazardous materials/waste.
Strong communication, problem solving and relationship building skills.
Ability to work as a member of a team, as well as, an individual.
Proficient computer skills.
OSHA 40-hour Hazwoper trained (preferred).
