Job Title: Accounting Manager
Location: Knoxville, TN
Position Overview: The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. This includes ensuring the accuracy of all financial records, preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing the month-end close process, and more. The Accounting Manager will also provide financial guidance to the organization and ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and corporate policies. Analyze financial statements and present recommendations based on findings. Prepare reports on financial performance Analyze the cost of production and other costs, such as cost allocation, cost control, and PPE. Perform reconciliations, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of the month-end close process. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls. Other duties as needed Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field. 5+ Years of Strong Accounting Experience Previous experience in a manufacturing environment required Understanding the concepts of cost allocation, cost control, and cost management. The ability to interpret complex accounting standards, consolidate financial data, and ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulatory requirements.
