Wastewater Operator

DescriptionPosition at JBS USA WASTE WATER TREATMENT OPERATOR – 2ND SHIFT HOURS OF WORK:  
2nd Shift – 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm. flexible as needed or required DUTIES:  
Monitor and maintain adequate supply of water in equalization pit; proper amount of air in DAF tankMonitor and nitrate phosphate levels and steam temperature consistency; notify essential personnel when unusual levels occurClean and sanitize wastewater treatment room, spray, and screens twice per hour with hot water hoseAdminister and measure chemical usageAttend meetings as scheduled or calledPerform various other duties as needed or as assigned QUALIFICATIONS:  
Dependable and enthusiasticPrevious experience in wastewater treatment facility preferredGood people skills, ability to work well with othersHigh School Diploma or GED requiredGood communication skills, both oral and writtenGood math skillsAbility to follow instructionsAbility to work efficiently with limited supervisionGood attendance recordSelf-starter We are an equal opportunity employer.EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled
