Warehouse Associate

We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated worker to join our team at Windham Blue Seal. This is a full-time position with outstanding benefits. Weekend availability is a must.

We are an outgoing, animal-loving, team-oriented group of individuals. Our days consist of multi-tasking on projects; loading feed into customer's vehicles, unloading grain trailers into the warehouse, cleaning, sweeping, rotating feed and re-stocking the retail and garden area. There is always something to do and you can probably cancel your gym membership. We are proud of the store and customer service we provide and love working together with the customers.

The successful candidate must reside within a commutable distance to Windham, ME.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Loading and unloading bagged feeds and related products to our customers, both commercial and private
Ability to safely operate a hand truck and a fork truck
Operate all equipment in a safe manner and obey all safety rules
Receive and accurately load and rotate product
Maintain the warehouse and loading areas in a neat and orderly fashion
Report any safety concerns while performing essential duties.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to lift 55 lbs. to a height of 50 inches
Demonstrate a consistent track record of employment
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Must pass pre-employment drug screen
Effective communication
Understanding of feed products and/or willingness to learn and grow.
EDUCATION: High School diploma or GED
