Summary: Supports and/or leads the development and execution of Technical Publications that may include Parts Books, Operator's Manuals and Set-up Instructions.
Principle Duties and Areas of Responsibility: Produce, update, revise technical publications including, but not limited to Parts Books, Operator's Manuals, Set-Up Instructions and the publication/printing of the publications. Works with Engineering on Engineer changes. Updates existing content that can be repurposed for use as product information, online help, training materials, e-learning components, support content, proposals, policies/procedures, and other knowledge assets. Assists with the translation of technical documentation. Works with Engineering & Parts Department with verification of parts that may be questionable Physically examine equipment and compare work to the actual products being represented in the manuals. Work with the technical publication team and/or marketing to improve efficiencies in producing quality publications competitively. Adheres to company quality protocols and processes Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures Perform job duties in an ethical, professional manner which is consistent with Oxbo guidelines. Inc. was founded by Mr. Lauri Heikenen and two partners in 1967. In the years that followed, Mr. Heikenen bought out the original partners and H&S remains a family-owned business. The business was started to manufacture and sell self-unloading forage boxes to farm equipment dealers. The original manufacturing facility was a 50' x 100' block building with a very small office located on 5 acres in the then-new Marshfield Industrial Park.Over its history, H&S has experienced steady expansion of facilities, products, and markets. Indeed H&S manure spreaders are used on dairy farms as far away as Korea and Japan.In 1988, H&S chose to enter the large hay rake market. In the years since, H&S has become not only the largest player in that market, but also the design leader, with six patents granted by the U.S. government for new designs of bi-fold and high-capacity rakes. H&S rakes manufactured today range in size from 8 to 22 wheel.
