Tax Accountant

Tax Accountant Location Hybrid work in Virginia Beach, VA : Overview We are a public accounting firm located in Virginia Beach seeking a full-time tax professional. Our firm is focused on providing tax and accounting services to closely held businesses and the associated principals.
Responsibilities Prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses with an emphasis on business returns. Strong verbal and written communication skills to professionally correspond with clients daily. Assist with tax notice resolutions. Assist with tax planning and the preparation of projections. Conduct tax research, as needed, using firm provided research materials. Assist with firm's accounting and attestation work, as needed. Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting Two years tax experience in public accounting Candidate will need strong skills with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite products. Experience with CCH ProSystemFx or CCH Axcess Tax is a plus. Experience with CCH Engagement and CCH Planning is also a plus. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
