Job Summary: Students can gain:
1. Experience as a member of team dedicated to supporting students
2. Enhanced knowledge of processes to support students participating on study abroad
3. Advising and public communication skills
4. A deeper clarity on what you learned from studying abroad and how to apply it to your future
Essential Duties: Develop social media content specific to faculty-led programs.
Send weekly application reminders to students participating in faculty-led programs abroad about essential tasks in the pre-departure process.
Prepare materials for pre-departure orientation sessions.
Review student travel documents for completion and accuracy.
Assist in distributing materials on campus for recruitment efforts.
Assist in development of new events and programming for students.
Provide feedback on student experience during the pre-departure process specific to faculty-led programs.
Minimum Qualifications: • Highly self-motivated student who has strong enthusiasm for study abroad
• Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
• Must be in good disciplinary standing with a 2.75 or higher GPA
• Evening and weekend availability is required
Preferred Qualifications: Student is looking to or has studied abroad.
