**Position Title:** TAG24 Specialist
**Employment Type:** Remote, Full-Time
**Classification:** Exempt
**Work Schedule:** Weekends plus 2 or 3 days (potentially 4x10) and Holidays
**Salary Range:** $65,000 - $73,000 per year
**Job Summary:**
As a TAG24 Specialist, you will be integral to our client support within the TAG24 department. Your main responsibilities will include managing client travel logistics and fulfilling travel requirements such as airfare, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, meet & assist services, and private charters.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Handle all client enquiries, requests, bookings, and ticketing with utmost precision and quality documentation, ensuring compliance with company and client standards.
- Address and resolve errors or client complaints promptly and with exceptional customer service.
- Process complex reissues and pricing records accurately.
- Meet deadlines, client policies, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) consistently.
- Foster and maintain excellent customer relationships, delivering personalized service to each client.
- Negotiate optimal rates and deals with vendors to minimize client expenditure and maximize company profitability.
- Complete ticketing and ensure correct PNR entries in the Global Distribution System (Galileo).
- Maintain attention to detail to minimize errors and financial losses.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any issues or concerns.
- Participate in training new department staff.
- Cultivate relationships with key vendors and support business development initiatives.
- Identify and communicate business opportunities to the Sales team.
- Attend company training sessions as required.
- Propose improvements to departmental operations for enhanced efficiency and profitability.
- Maximize income streams, including commission and override opportunities, with suppliers.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the Travel Industry or similar service industry, preferably in a 24-hour department.
- Strong understanding of airfares, contracted fares, ticketing, and reissues.
- Proficiency in Galileo GDS with at least 7 years of experience.
- Experience booking flights, hotels, and managing published airfares.
- Ability to handle VIP, entertainment clients, and group travel arrangements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- Eligibility to work in the USA.
