Residential Construction Purchasing Manager

Residential Construction Purchasing Manager One of my top home builders is on the search for a Purchasing Manager! They are well-respected in the area and emphasize growth, mentorship, and development of their employees.
The Purchasing Manager will be overseeing the purchasing department. They will be the connection between the purchasing and estimating department as well. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints to accurately estimate material quantities and costs
- Utilize Home Front, Hyphen Solutions, Build Pro, and Supply Pro software to streamline purchasing operations
- Conduct regular market research to identify new vendors and negotiate competitive pricing
- Coordinate with the construction team to ensure seamless coordination of material orders and deliveries
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and generate reports for management review
Qualifications
- 2 years of residential production purchasing experience
- Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings
- Familiarity with Home Front, Hyphen Solutions, Build Pro, and Supply Pro software is a bonus
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
