This position is located in the Prosthetics & Sensory Aids Service ( PSAS ) at VA Phoenix Health Care System – Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities
• Perform direct medical supply purchasing and inventory management support• Initiate the obligation for all related requirements necessary to provide prosthetic and sensory aids services• Acquire Veteran-specific medical equipment, supplies, and services based on a medical provider's clinical assessment• Submit Acquisition Plans and Procurement Packages• Verify vendor information and ensure compliance with government regulations• Ensure accountability of prosthetics expenditures• Perform complex and routine purchasing tasks• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Must be a U.S. Citizen• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959• Subject to background/security investigation• Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement• Participation in the Coronavirus Disease 2019 ( COVID -19) vaccination program is a requirement
