Essential Functions of the Property Accountant: Maintains the assigned property and Profits/Losses. Monitors the cash flow of properties and forecasts required funds. Monitors property escrow & reserve accounts for related expenditures and to ensure proper funding in accordance with loan & partnership agreements. Performs payroll submission for company employees Prepares monthly financial statements for properties and saves electronic copies to the network drive. Prepares and submits the monthly, quarterly and annual budget reports.  Prepares year-end property audit files and reconciles them against the prior year's audited trial balance and retained earnings. Education and Experience Requirements of Property Accountant: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field of study required. Will consider associates degree with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience.
