Location Position: will work with Green County families
The Early Head Start Program Assistant is responsible for supporting the Green County Early Head Start Home Based programs. Duties
This includes preparation of: materials; transportation & nutrition needs for socializations; maintaining curricular resources for home visits; special projects; developing newsletters and other written materials and assisting the families, Family Advocates and Supervisors of EHS. Requirements Bilingual (Spanish) skills, particularly spoken, desired, not required Child Development or related Associate?s Degree and experience preferred Ability to understand office systems and procedures and utilize them in support of overall program compliance, with strong emphasis on record keeping, tracking and contact with public Strong computer literacy and 2 to 3 years of work experience in Microsoft Office programs, Outlook, Google ? Gmail, Sheets, Drive, Docs, Windows Media, Paint, and the internet Coursework and / or experience in 0-3 education, human development and / or health services preferred Effective communication skills, written, verbal, and listening; ability to communicate professionally and effectively with parents, staff and management on a daily basis Benefits
