Description Position: Platform Manager - DDI/AAA Platform Department: Network Services
Location: Remote
Citizens Bank is adopting a productized organizational model within our Network Services team to streamline and enhance our network capabilities. We are seeking a Platform Manager who will not only lead the DDI/AAA Platform but also contribute to its development.
Job Summary: As a Platform Manager, you will 'own' the DDI/AAA service, overseeing all aspects of its functionality and improvement. You will become the subject matter expert (SME) and the driving force behind a platform delivering essential DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and AAA services. The role demands a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and prodect management, as you define and prioritize product development, cultivate roadmaps, and facilitate both internal and outsourced efforts to refine our services.
Key Responsibilities: • Take ownership of the DDI/AAA platform, ensuring its alignment with network services strategy and user needs.
Build the product team consisting of a scrum master, network developers, and NOC engineers.
• Establish yourself as the SME for the DDI/AAA service, continuously enhancing your knowledge and expertise.
• Curate and manage the product backlog in Jira, balancing new feature development with essential bug fixes.
• Construct, document, and share the product roadmap within Confluence, projecting clear and actionable milestones.
• Assess and decide the division of development tasks between in-house teams and external partners such as Infosys.
• Prepare SOW deliverables for staff augmentation and product development; manage outsourced teams as required.
• Maintain a customer-centric service catalog detailing the product's utility, access, and support mechanisms.
• Create comprehensive documentation and training materials to support network services.
• Conduct training sessions for the Network Operations team to ensure proficient support for the service.
• Define telemetry and capacity management specifications and collaborate with the telemetry team for effective monitoring and alerting.
Required Skills: • Extensive experience with AWS Route 53, Clearpass, Infoblox, IPControl, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM solutions.
• Proficiency in TACACS, RADIUS, and other authentication protocols.
• Strong familiarity with API integration and management within CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical knowledge of creating and managing backlogs in Jira and developing roadmaps in Confluence.
• Experience in drafting SOWs and managing outsourced resources effectively.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in network services, with a focus on product management or development.
• Relevant industry certifications are highly advantageous.
Demonstrable leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Pay Transparency  The salary range for this position is $ 184,080 - $ 225,000 per year plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
