Job Description Job Summary Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of inbound shipments Responding to internal inquiries on freight expected delivery dates and referring shippers to the proper channels Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy Tracking and fixing inbound shipping errors Auditing bill of ladings and invoices compared to receiving worksheets Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized Qualifications Qualifications and Skills Minimum of 1 years of freight tracking or related experience Experience in process mapping of complex systems Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills Strong MS Excel, MS Word, and WMS experience Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Excellent customer service and client relations skills Keep organization and time management skills Good collaboration and team work abilities Great leadership and goal-setting skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Advanced data analysis and data visualization Expert inventory management Ability to use computers, software and other technology for inventory and communication purposes Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions Additional Information Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The nature of our business does not allow for a hard stop time. Although we offer full time hours, there will be days where the employee must work till the job is finished.
