Responsibilities
• Safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle• Use Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and/or Material Handling Equipment (MHE)• Maneuver vehicle and equipment in congested areas with limited space and obstacles• Unload and deliver products to customers• Provide exceptional customer service• Complete delivery and pick up paperwork• Pick up returned product• Collect company assets• Complete inspections of equipment and vehicle• Communicate effectively with supervisor and co-workers
Requirements
• Must be at least 21 years of age• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)• Must have at least 1 year Class A commercial driving experience or equivalent• Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record• Must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs.• Must pass background, DOT Physical, and drug test
Key Skills Needed
• Customer service experience• Experience with handheld ordering device• Working in a multi-temperature environment• Stocking and product handling• Local delivery or unloading experience• Foodservice distribution, grocery store, or beverage delivery experience
