Role Overview
As a Human Rights Advocacy Officer, you'll play a crucial role in our USAID-funded initiative in Armenia. Working closely with human rights defenders, you'll lead efforts to boost public demand for and access to human rights protections. Your leadership will guide the strategic direction and technical execution of the program, ensuring cohesive teamwork and impactful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Coordination: Chart the course for the initiative, fostering integration across teams to magnify our impact.
Capacity Building: Tailor programs to empower stakeholders, from human rights defenders to government agencies, enhancing their effectiveness.
Partnership Development: Forge and nurture strategic alliances to amplify our collective voice and drive sustainable progress.
Monitoring & Evaluation: Implement robust frameworks to gauge our success, sharing insights to refine and enrich our approach.

About You
Education: A Master's degree (or equivalent) in human rights, law, or a related field. Exceptional candidates with a Bachelor's degree and significant experience are also encouraged to apply.
Experience: At least 5 years in human rights advocacy, with a proven track record of successful capacity building.
Skills: Deep knowledge of human rights law, strategic thinking, and the ability to engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.
Language: Professional fluency in Armenian and English is essential.
