Asset Management is a division of Davey Resource Group (DRG) which specializes in managing the assets of utility companies throughout the U.S. by providing solutions, focused around the electrical and telecommunication industries. Work with leading electrical and telecommunication companies and travel throughout their utility service territory to inspect, document and provide analysis of infrastructure.
Inspect and catalogue utility assets to create accurate and consistent utility asset data sets for our clients.
Providing utility companies real-time, updated and quality data, to help improve service and reliability.
Understand the use of document management systems, filing, and document scanning.
Execute and plan daily goals while meeting quality, time and budget constraints.
Learn to identify electrical/communication utility equipment and potential hazards.
Review and/or correct data integrity errors within GIS databases.
Understand and comply with all safety regulations to maintain a successful safety record.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to stand, walk, or hike for extended periods of time and long distances, bend, reach and to move to carry items weighing up to 25 lbs.
Capable of traveling up to 75% of the time, including overnight, throughout service territories to complete required responsibilities. All travel costs and accommodations are fully employer paid in advance.
Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Organized, effective communication ability and functions with a high attention to detail.
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and in various hours of the day or night.
High School diploma & valid Driver?s License required.
Ability to work and hike in rugged terrain and inclement weather.
High school diploma or GED is required. Education focused in geography, GIS, electrical/telecom utilities or a related discipline is a plus, but not required.
Proficient use of computers, various software packages and other forms of technology is ideal.

Salary: $16.00 to $18.00 /hour

GIS, Utilities, Field Service or Outdoors Work: 1 year (Preferred)

Education:
High school or equivalent (Preferred)

75% (Preferred)

This position consists of working outdoors nearly 100% of the time within various different elements of weather.
